I grew up watching my grandmother bake red bean buns every Sunday morning in her tiny Seoul kitchen. The smell of butter and dough, the patience it takes, the way food brings people together — that never left me.
In 2020, I packed up my life in Sydney and moved to Melbourne with one goal: to open a bakery that felt like home. Sora's Bake Studio has been open since 2021, and every single day I get to do exactly what I love.

Made from Scratch
All doughs are hand-laminated here in our Fitzroy kitchen. No pre-mixes, no shortcuts — just butter, flour, and time.
Seasonally Inspired
Our menu changes with what's best each month. If the strawberries aren't great, we find something that is.
Community First
This studio is a place to slow down, connect, and belong. We want everyone to feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
